Vegvísir icelandic talisman PIN by Torvenius

This old Icelandic magical symbol and talisman of protection is mentioned in the Huld manuscript by Geir Vigfusson. It is believed to show the way and protects its bearer from never get lost.


“If this sign is carried, one will never lose one’s way in storms or bad weather, even when the way is not known.”


The original drawing is not inscribed in a circle, but in this version and redrawned by Torvenius, placed within double, fine lines of metal. Made as a 25 mm hard enamel pin in black and silver color, and all smooth surface, it goes well on any apparel.
